In depth

Verdict

It was only a seller that MOMENT IN THE SUN won at Lingfield last time but she had Saucy Cat behind when runner-up in a handicap at the same track before that. She gets the vote ahead of Courtesy Call, who ended last season with a poor effort over a mile here and steps up in trip for his return. Tectonic is another stepping up in distance having been placed at this course recently, while Leading Star moves in the opposite direction after a third over 1m4f here last month. Pearl Frost and Run Of The Day are others to note making their handicap debuts.
