    Verdict

Broughtons Fancy is the only recent winner but that was over 6f and she has yet to win over this far. Breakheart was runner-up over track and trip last month, with Rafaaf and Altaira behind, while Free To Roam and Gavarnie Encore filled the places here a fortnight ago when ahead of Rising Sunshine, Never To Be and Zebedee's Son. A Boy Named Sue has a shout but a token vote goes to the veteran WEST LEAKE dropping down a grade after finishing a close-up fourth off today’s mark here last time.
