Verdict

Lingfield winner EXCHEQUER put a poor run behind him when only beaten a head at Newmarket. Richard Hannon's charge can go one better dropped in class for this. Hector Crouch's allowance negates a 5lb rise for Good Luck Charm's win at Goodwood and the latter can also figure along with Never To Be. The Confessor has slipped down the weights while Tellovoi and Rogue Wave, though not the most reliable, are capable at this level on their day.
