In depth

Verdict

Roninski had Irish Heartbeat behind when fourth at Doncaster 12 days ago and is worth a second look here. Triple Charm ran well over track and trip last month and should also be thereabouts while Gouray Girl's last win, over two years ago, came over this trip and she was staying on over 6f in a Listed race last time. Brian Ellison's mare makes more appeal than recent Wolverhampton winner Kingscroft and veteran Webbow here. But the vote goes to the lightly-raced HURRY UP GEORGE, who is back on this surface for the first time since winning his maiden last December. He's been quite highly tried this year but ran well at Ascot last month and looks worth another try over the extra furlong.
