Verdict

It's difficult to get away from the chance of NEW CODE, who gained his fourth victory in five starts with a comfortable success over an in-form rival here a week ago. Gary Moore's charge has a penalty to carry but still looks well enough treated to continue his winning run. Kitty Wells was having her first start on Polytrack and her first since July when catching the eye at Lingfield last month. She makes her handicap debut here and, with further progress likely, looks a threat. The Wonga Coup showed very little earlier this year but has improved greatly since reappearing at Lingfield last month and was only just touched off over 1m2f last time. His stable is also represented by Ermyn Express, a big disappointment at Lingfield last time after an earlier victory over 1m2f there. Dosti made a winning debut here in February but hasn't beaten a single opponent in his two subsequent starts and New Den has been struggling.
