Verdict

Jake The Snake has been a losing favourite in both starts in similar company recently and was beaten fair and square by HINTON ADMIRAL over C&D a fortnight ago. The latter made all on that occasion and, given he won with a bit in hand, a similar outcome is expected here. Thunderball ran well behind the progressive Steed at Southwell last time and is equally at home on Polytrack, but I Confess will find this tougher than when second at Wolverhampton on Monday. Euston Square and Sir Josh look out of it on these terms.
