Roc D'Apsis goes well fresh but this looks too short for Tom George’s 10-year-old. Bandsman was in good form last summer but hasn’t raced since July. Another Crick got off the mark at Newbury in December and the form has been franked but CONNA CROSS deserves a change of luck and may just have the edge at the weights today. He is versatile as to going and trip so should handle all eventualities. Master Burbidge is proving hard to catch right but veteran Fox Appeal should give a good account, despite his big weight.
