In depth

Verdict

Blazed is not particularly well handicapped and has had a short break but was running well on Turf when last seen and handles Polytrack so could give supporters a run for their money at a working man’s price if the mile doesn’t prove too far. Central City has won twice on Tapeta and was successful over Doncaster’s straight mile in September before finishing second at Epsom. He’s been placed on Polytrack so shouldn’t be far away and looks the pick of the three-year-olds ahead of the unexposed Ring Dancer and Thechildren'strust, though the latter could be well treated. KINGSTON KURRAJONG could run around here blindfold and won off a higher mark over course and distance in June. He came back to form last time and won’t be fazed by a step back up in grade. Lacan and Oud Metha Bridge are also respected.
