In depth

Verdict

Pivotal Answer is a confident choice here, with Couer De Lionne and Ideally the most likely dangers. Jeremy Noseda's charge was most impressive when winning over the eleven furlong trip here. Having been headed in the final furlong, she fought back well to get up near the line. The slightly longer trip should suit and if showing the same determinatuion today she will be hard to beat. Coeur De Lionne beat the good all-weather yardstick Boot N Toot last time out and is open to more improvement. Meanwhile dual winner Ideally could go close if given an easy lead. However there was so much to like about the attitude of Pivotal Answer she has the selection.
