    Verdict

Pow Wow landed a hat-trick in good style when romping home at Bath in June but is 10lb higher on his first start since and BANISH (NAP) is preferred. The latter has slipped 10lb down the weights since the start of the season and last week’s fourth at Newcastle points to a big run here. Special Relation won at Pontefract in June and is 5lb higher while Elysian Prince has won over hurdles since placing over track and trip back in March. Batts Rock has to be forgiven a poor effort at Wolverhampton last time but has a shout on an earlier second at Newmarket.
