Verdict

Hoar Frost was good value for his win in a Yarmouth seller last week but this is tougher for Mick Channon's filly under her penalty and a better bet in a poor contest looks to be the lightly raced STAR CHOICE, with Epsom Salts rated the pick of the remainder. The selection is less exposed than most of his rivals after just five starts, Michael Bell's gelding has run well in his last two starts in handicaps and he is taken to resume winning ways. Well Informed has slipped to a fair mark and has to be respected over a trip that suits. Paul Cole's Trinkila has been well held in his last two outings and he looks best watched, while Rosy Dawn ran better here last time but he is inconsistent. Epsom Salts seemed not to take to hurdles at Fontwell recently and may do better back on the level today but it is the lightly raced Star Choice that gets the verdict.
