Verdict

We will side with Walter Swinburn's CROWN CHOICE who can get the better of Divinsky and Wigram's Turn. The selection is making his handicap debut here but he won his maiden in good style over this course and distance earlier in the month and he shapes as though he could be one to stay on the right side of. The yard are in good form and he can add to their recent tally of winners. Divinsky has got a good record here but he likes to make the running and he could struggle to do that from his wide draw. Wigram's Turn is another from a yard in good form and he didn't go down without a fight here last time behind Taqdeyr. He has more on his plate today but he is improving and he should be capable of getting competitive. Jake The Snake is a model of consistency and he does boast course and distance winning form. He has a good draw and connections will be hopeful that he can again get in the money. Prince Of Thebes ran well last time and is another to consider, but there is plenty to recommend Crown Choice who gets the vote.
