Verdict

Glan Y Gors went close over 2m on a couple of occasions back in January but has not raced since. The veterans Saborido and Zakatal arrive in good form though both are upped in class for this. However, the former won at Lingfield recently and the latter was ahead of Planetoid when second at Wolverhampton last time. COTTON CLUB gets the vote despite not threatening the winner when runner-up in this grade at Goodwood last time as he was just ahead of King Calypso with Percy Veer and Shades of Silver further behind. Rod Millman’s charge is also preferred to last month’s course and distance winner Royal Reef.
