        Verdict

        Edgware Road has only found the progressive Maven too good at Wolverhampton the last twice, but has gone up 5lb as a result. In contrast, TRIP SWITCH is a winner without a penalty having won an apprentices race at the same track last week and he looks capable of taking advantage and following up. Daniel Thomas has a bit to find with the selection on earlier form at this track, but Princess Lexi wasn't beaten far despite finishing seventh at Lingfield last time and makes more appeal than Isdaal.
