Verdict

Scribano Eile can be rated more of a threat than recent efforts suggest however preference is for Ruairi ahead of Kew Jumper. A course winner last time out, the selection doesn't always find an awful lot for pressure but his previous runs behind Oslot and Arkle second Krugyrova read tremendously well and he can go on to defy this lofty mark of 123. Scribano Eile won tidily earlier in the season at Kelso but his general record is unpredictable to say the least and his form figures would be more at home in a Penguin advert. Roznic has winning course form so could be a player but his recent runs have been poor, including when well-beaten behind Kew Jumper on his latest run. Nemetan is consistent but seems to prefer a shorter trip, whilst Laskari needs a check in the betting coming back from a break. An open-looking race, however Ruairi is fancied to win again.
