DIGGERATT looks good enough to land the opener, while Statute Book and My Sweet Georgia enter the race in fine form and are worth noting in the market. The selection landed back to back victories at Carlisle and Redcar last month and was not discredited in first time cheekpieces over course and distance last time out after finishing third to Millfield. The headgear is applied once more and if he can recapture his recent form he is sure to be in the shake up come the business end of the race. Statute Book landed a hat-trick of victories on the all weather during February and March rising 16lbs in the ratings as a consequence. Since then, he has found life a lot tougher but has fared a little better since dropped into claiming grade so he warrants respect. My Sweet Georgia won a similar contest at Southwell last winter but was very disappointing on his seasonal reappearance last week. That said, he will be a lot sharper for the outing so any market moves should be monitored. Diggeratt is the form horse in the race and comes form a yard in form so we will not oppose.
