Verdict

Holy Water showed promise last year but has been a bit disappointing in two runs since returning from a break. Clarin Lad took a backward step here last month after his third at Killarney in May so GOOD TRADITION and Borderlinedecision could fight out the finish. The latter was a bit below par at Roscommon in June so Dermot Weld's charge gets the nod given a run on the Flat at Galway is sure to have blow away a few cobwebs – he's a dual winner on the level and capable of better under NH Rules.
