Casey Top is an interesting type for chasing as he's bred for the job and has some nice form over hurdles and was a winner between the flags. It would be no surprise to see him make a winning debut but could have been found an easier option. ST DEVOTE did well over timber and made a winning debut over fences when just holding Ainama at Tipperary. He'll improve for the run and looks the one to beat. Dashing Ruby battled on well to beat Auenschutze at Clonmel while the lightly-raced and progressive Sorted held off the better fancied Model County Lass over the C&D and there's plenty of improvement in him. The front-running Spill The Beans couldn't keep up the gallop over two miles at Roscommon but might do better ridden with more restraint.
