Mick The Jiver just held the fast-finishing Sarah Battle over 2m6f at Thurles and though the latter is 4lb better off and will be suited by the longer trip this is a very tight track and the winner could have the advantage again. But AUGHER CASTLE (NAP), a winner at Navan in December, produced another fine run when a close third to Colms Dream over this trip at Down Royal and, with just a 1lb rise, looks ready to score again. Cloudy Morning has won on the track but over a much shorter trip while Quelle Belle Vie didn't run well on her final start in November after looking a progressive type on her previous start.
