Verdict

Benalma won here in May but that was over 2m5f which is much more like his trip. Carleton Place was conceding 5lb to GOOD DECISION when beating him narrowly at Tramore in August but was well and truly put in his place by that rival at Wexford last month. He's since won at Uttoxeter while the selection has been a close second to Mr Bones at Wexford, though that was over a longer trip and Christy Roche's charge looks the one to be on again. Battlefront needs a further drop in the weights while Big Dano was well behind the selection at Wexford and looks poorly handicapped.
