Verdict

Luddenmore scored on fast ground at Listowel, when Andantino was beaten out of sight, but couldn't cope with a 9lb rise on his next start at Naas. Sassaway tackles this trip for the first time and was racing over 5f on her penultimate start. Lady L has been looking one-paced and has plenty of weight for what she has achieved. Del Mar should be ready after a couple of recent runs and showed ability on his final start last term but the vote goes to MASELA, who wears blinkers for the first time and ran quite well behind Cheval Rouge at Naas on ground that may have been too quick for her.
