In depth

Verdict

Great Trango looked to have a fair chance in the 7.55 here last night so that result should be monitored. Percy Veer has been placed in moderate company over hurdles recently though looks high enough in the weights but SCARPETA (NAP) looks well handicapped on his return to the Flat. Willie Mullins' charge easily won a Gowran maiden hurdle in January and subsequently competed at the highest level over timber including when fourth behind Samcro at Cheltenham. Art Of Security won a Navan maiden over 1m5f in October but hasn't done as well as expected over timber and Sil Ver Klass may pose more of a threat. He hasn't won since joining Tony Martin from France but came closest over hurdles at Limerick last month and looks well treated on his return to the level.
