The top trio are all penalised, Perceval Legallois for a bumper victory at Gowran and he ran his best race over hurdles when narrowly beaten into third at Fairyhouse. Dual Flat winner Auckland has been inconsistent over timber but would have a definite chance on his latest run in a Fairyhouse handicap. GLENGLASS has won a point-to-point and a bumper and chased home the odds-on Snake Oil on the latter track last month with the remainder well beaten. He gets the nod though the likes of Pale Blue Dot, narrowly beaten over 2m7f at Thurles, The Gradual Slope, Time Marches On and the unexposed The Folkes Tiara are all worthy of consideration in a stronger-than-normal maiden.
