Verdict

After a good run over this trip at Listowel, PORT MERRION has been tried over further but hasn't been getting home so this should prove more to his liking and he's given the nod. Brog Deas Nua made a fair start at Dundalk in November but he's run poorly this season and was beaten a distance when last of five at Clonmel in May though that was on very testing ground. Mezogiorno has been showing good pace before fading including over this trip at Bellewstown but in the context of this poor event it would be no shock if she were to hang on. The remainder have shown very little though a market check is best advised.
