In depth

Verdict

Here For The Craic is penalised for his bumper victory but reverted to hurdling with a fine run behind Prince Chaparral at Tramore and there doesn't look too much here to concern him from those with experience. However, PADDY THE CELEB, who is also penalised for his Flat victories, looks the one to be on as he makes his hurdling debut. He scored at the Curragh in May and has run well enough subsequently in tough handicaps to suggest he can make a hurdler. Bose Ikard showed some promise on his opening run in a Clonmel bumper and was beaten so far on his next start at Leopardstown in December that it can't have been his true form. Leavethelighton improved in bumpers last winter and has a jumper's pedigree but Tellherimhere appears to favour very fast ground.
