Jamie Osborne makes his annual pilgrimage to the seaside for owners Melbourne Racing, starting with Faraasah and The Right Choice here. A winner at Lingfield in November, the former hasn't run since a poor effort at Wolverhampton the following month and, like all of his rivals, has never run on the beach. The Right Choice won twice at Southwell for Richard Fahey so could be more at home on this surface. Johnny Murtagh has his horses in outstanding form and SHORE STEP, seven times a winner on Turf, is looking well handicapped these days so gets the nod. Sevenleft is another looking on a fair mark as his last victory was from 20lb higher, though that was back in 2016. Aleef has won twice this season and has been running in slightly better company so is expected to go well under a big weight.
