        Verdict

        Armed made relentless late headway on debut at Windsor but just failed to reel in Employer. Simon Crisford trained the third in that race, Mutafani, who has won since and he saddles Ajddarr in this. The latter is by Iffraaj out of a winning miler and worth a market check in this. Piece Of History is also by Iffraaj and a half-brother to two winning milers. The Godolphin colt warrants a mention but another newcomer, William Haggas’ WITH A START, gets the nod. By Sea The Stars, he changed hands for 150,000gns as a yearling and is out of a dam that has produced winners with her first two foals to race. Shareef Star and Margie's Choice represent powerful yards and can’t be ignored having only raced twice.
