This is a competitive amateur riders race where our vote is given to the potentially well treated ROSS LEADER ahead of Sarah's Gift while if Touch Of Fate can return from a long absence fit he could be a good each-way play. The selection has had plenty of set bacsk in his career but seems to be benefitting for a run of races recording three place finishes in the last three starts. He has been well beaten in each of those but this is a slightly easier assignment off a mark 11lbs lighter than he has won off in the past. Sarah's Gift steps down in class from his latest effort to try and break his maiden tag at the 24th time of asking. The gelding has been completive off this mark in recent times and should go well. Touch Of Fate has been off the track for 830 days but can go well fresh. He's given every chance to do so off a rating eight pounds lower than his only career win, which came over timber and at a double figure price he's worth a small risk bet for a place. Another worth a mention is Mickwell Bay who¿s now dangerous off his low looking mark but in a much better race than our opener Ross Leader can lead them home.
