In depth

Verdict

LORD FRANKLIN is the one most likely to run his race and gets the nod on that basis. He went close to following up an earlier win at Hamilton when second at Pontefract during the week and this looks an easier task. Lutine Charlie is also taking on lesser rivals after a recent third at Bath and Piccolo Mondo has claims on his placed efforts on the Polytrack. Maakirr didn't last home over 1m2f here last week and can do better but the lightly-raced Sacred Square could prove a bigger danger on his handicap bow.
