      Verdict

LINCOLN hasn't enjoyed the rub of the green in competitive sprints on recent starts and the return to a seventh furlong for the first time this season could well give him more time to prepare his usual late challenge. He has his share of weight obviously but is a useful handicapper at his best and is worth chancing. Twin Appeal is respected on the best of his form and is expected to go well on the back of two useful efforts in quality handicaps. Easy Tiger and Welliesinthewater could also get involved in an open race but Art Echo and Shyron make more shortlist appeal at the foot of the weights.
