Verdict

A trappy contest to end proceedings but top weight Xpres Maite has to go on the short-list with Josh Baudains taking off 3lb. He took advantage of a tumble down the weights to score at Newcastle last month and was second over C&D two weeks ago. Amy Scott can get a tune out of No Larking but Pink Lips has more on her plate than when winning a weak maiden at Yarmouth and Ffos Las winner Greyemkay disappointed on the all-weather last time. Grand Piano must go close if his Salisbury second was no fluke while Chepstow third Percythepinto looks the best of the three-year-olds but BOY THE BELL looked to be on the way back at Pontefract last time and is well treated on his old form. He gets a tentative vote here with the return to 7f probably in his favour.
