In depth

Verdict

The majority of these are on the downgrade and have won from higher marks. Plunger won over the course and distance in July and is 2lb lower thanks to some moderate performances but Young John has also won over the track and trip though he's 10lb higher having won at Newcastle subsequently. Nezar was winning for the sixth time when scoring on Tapeta at Wolverhampton and though 6lb higher has won from this mark but SWIFT APPROVAL last won on Polytrack at Lingfield in January last year from 16lb higher. Stuart Williams' charge was well supported at Yarmouth last month and it's time he was winning again. Star Shield is another who attracted support at Carlisle last time but didn't get the best of runs and should do better.
