Verdict

Intransigent was beaten seven lengths when second at Chester last month but comfortably holds Maggie Pink on that run. That Is The Spirit came right back to form at Ayr last month and makes more appeal than the three-year-old C Note, despite a 6lb higher mark. But this looks between the top two in the handicap with ACCESSION just preferred to Doncaster winner Can't Change It. The former was no match for Aclaim at Newbury last time but that was a Listed race and the fast-improving winner followed up in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes at Newmarket last week.
