Verdict

Almost half of this field are tackling fences for the first time. OUT THE GLEN had excuses when finishing tailed off at Perth last April. Twice a winner over hurdles, he was returning from a lay-off when fourth over the smaller obstacles at Huntingdon in October and could be the answer to a low-quality novice handicap ahead of Skinflint, who is 0-13 under Rules but has won between the flags. Capricia has each-way claims if fully wound-up.
