Verdict

Kisha King gets our vote ahead of Whistle Blowing and Bathwick Shannon. The selection was taken out of a race at Folkestone yesterday when not declared with his usual tonguetie but he has it fitted here as well as blinkers for the first time. This is his first run for new connections and it would be no surprise to see this winning Irish pointer improve on the form he has shown to date with the jockey booking a positive for the yard. Whistle Blowing twice made the frame last month and should be in the mix in this sort of contest whilst Springaway was entitled to need his recent return. My Skipper was well backed last time and may be worth another chance whilst Paddy Brennan has proved to be a noteworthy booking for Tom George this season so Dillay Brook is worth a second look. Bathwick Shannon showed little for her previous connections but makes her chase debut for the Pipe yard on a very workable handicap mark as a result. She would have to be feared if the market spoke strongly in her favour but we'll stick with Kisha King.
