A modest finale in which Maggi May is an obvious contender if translating recent consistent all-weather form to grass, with the first-time application of cheekpieces an added plus. Lambrini Legacy has shown more than enough in four outings to be a player too at the head of the weights and The Big Short has suggested on more than one occasion that a handicap of this nature is within his capabilities. This could well be his day with the champion jockey booked but MAJESTIC STONE showed considerable improvement last time on just a third start for the Camacho team when a strong-finishing second at Thirsk. He could well be the one here if ridden closer to the pace dropping a furlong in trip under Joe Doyle who knows him well.
