    Verdict

CALIBRATION is making a belated seasonal debut having placed in all four starts last year. He’s rated 87 on last season’s exploits so may still be good enough to make a winning return. Of those with the more recent form, Nathan had a genuine excuse last time with the soft ground against him having shown promise on his earlier debut, while Grey Diamond will likely do better over this longer trip. Warm Oasis cost 200,000gns as yearling but has already been gelded for his racecourse debut.
