The betting suggested FIVE HELMETS would go close dropping back down in class at Beverley and Tom Dascombe’s charge duly returned a ready winner. He can go in again with an apprentice’s allowance negating a penalty as this doesn’t look a strong contest. Sophosc was beaten only a head in a lower grade at Kempton last week while Mr Diamond went close over 5f at Beverley last time and makes his handicap debut having been gelded subsequently. Disruptor is another handicapping for the first time and worth a second glance while Lady Katy won over 6f at Catterick two runs ago.
