      Verdict

The Montjeu gelding Monjeni is confidently expected to leave last year's form behind now racing over a more suitable distance. Cliff Edge is also completely unexposed but is by miler Canford Cliffs. Tyrell was fourth over a similar trip at Kempton on his handicap debut and Young Tom has a similar profile and was third last time at Carlisle. TRIDENT TESTED only won a seller at Lingfield but it was on soft ground and ability to handle the surface could be a major plus this evening. Captain Peacock won at Kempton in April but has struggled since.
