    Verdict

In interesting little handicap where SUMMER LODGE is favoured to get the better of Hada Men. The latter is open to improvement after just six runs, which included a win last time at Folkestone on fast ground. He stays this far and if handling cut in the ground on his first try then he has a sporting chance of defying a 4lb rise. However, Summer Lodge is in the form of his life and we will take him to go in again here. Upped 5lbs since finishing a close-up second last time, he stays at least this far, handles soft ground and really looks in the groove at present. It's A Date is on the same mark as when a fast ground winner over the trip at Salisbury last month. He handles cut well and if you can forgive him a poor effort last time over further then he has to be feared. Rotative tries turf for the first time in public and stays the trip well, though from this mark and on softish ground he has a bit to prove and Summer Lodge gets the nod.
