Magic Warrior is the pick over Tetragon, Rock Haven and Miss Monica. Magic Warrior was successful here in June under Pat Dobbs, his second victory on the course, and more lately the same jockey worked wonders to get the six-year-old home at Kempton after his reins broke a furlong out. Hopefully today's pilot will not have the same problem to contend with as Jim Fox's charge bids to follow up off a pound lower Turf mark. Tetragon ran a fine race in defeat at Beverley, only collared well inside the final furlong by the favourite Parchment, and this drop back in trip should help Declan Caroll's challenger to go close off a decent mark still. Rock Haven is another well treated individual but has more to do than when landing a Redcar seller, while Miss Monica has a light weight and hails from a small but shrewd yard. They appear to be the main contenders, with Magic Warrior taken to prove the best of them.
