SPENSLEY produced his best effort of the season when finishing fourth at Newbury last month. This is less competitive and his only win on turf so far came at this track. James Fanshawe's charge is preferred to Sagredo, who doesn't look particularly well handicapped despite a ion over hurdles last month, while the mostly consistent On The Feather posted a poor effort at Salisbury last time with no apparent excuse. Amistress should be thereabouts, but Perfect Reward hasn't raced on the Flat for two years though he has improved over jumps of late.
