Aegean Dancer looks the key to this race with Little Edward and Melalchrist all likely to play their part. Bryan Smart's sprinters have been in fair nick this season and provided that the going stays on the fast side, Aegean Dancer has obvious claims on the best of his form. Six furlongs clearly stretches his stamina a little too far so the return to five looks logical. Little Edward continues in good heart and is likely to be running on again at the death.Conversely, trailblazing Melalchrist will attempt to make it from flagfall. Border Music has been tried over further but is tumbling down the weights and makes some appeal given the form of Andrew Balding's stable. Texas Gold looks to be coming back to some semblance of form while Cape Royal has looked one to avoid of late. Matsnosuke was scheduled to race at Newmarket on Saturday. Aegean Dancer appears to have conditions in his favour and is nominated accordingly.
