Verdict

A sprint handicap rounds off proceedings, and we'll go with Lady Carolina in preference to Hart of Gold and Boldinor. It's a competitive handicap to call though, with more than half the runners having won over this distance, in cluding our highlighted trio. Richard Guest's filly is chasing a hat-trick of wins at this level, and can land the three timer from a favourable draw. Earlier in the month she was drawn on the other side over a similar trip, yet still saw off all comers. Since then she's also been successful at Nottingham. Hart of Gold has a favourable draw, and seems to cope with different ground conditions. He may be held up, for a late run. Boldinor's twice a course and distance winner, including a fortnight ago in an apprentice handicap, and that was despite a bit of trouble in running, so another big race is expected from him. But in a big field with plenty of claims, we'll go with Lady Carolina.;
