        Verdict

        With plenty of dead wood here recent winner Kentucky Bullet is expected to land this weak contest, East Cape and Adalar could provide most danger. The selection has been a model of consistency all season and gained a deserved victory at Southwell last time. He drew clear in the closing stages to beat the well backed Stravmour by two lengths and he looks primed to follow up that success. East Cape has disappointed recently over longer trips but can be given a chance on the pick of last season's efforts over this distance. Adalar did well to finish third behind Out For A Stroll at Yarmouth last time and will not be inconvenienced by this step up in trip. Most of the others have little to recommend them and so it is not too difficult a task for Kentucky Bullet who can make it back to back wins.
