Verdict

Magnification did well to finish runner-up at the Curragh then appeared to get outpaced over 6f at Navan before staying on so the longer trip is in his favour. Currency Converter is out of a mare bred for middle-distances so he may need further but Drake Passage has a much speedier pedigree and should be ideally suited by this trip on quick ground. The remaining quartet are all trained at Ballydoyle. Joseph's Eagle Spirit is by Holy Roman Emperor and a half-brother to a winning French miler though it's Aidan's battalions who look to have the call. DOUGLAS MACARTHUR cost 1.25 million guineas and is a brother of the Oaks winner Was and related to several other useful winners. Pipes Of Peace is more likely to need further but Venezuela should be suited by the trip and like the selection has an entry in the National Stakes.
