Verdict

SOUTHERN FRANCE made his debut over this trip at Navan last month and gave notice of an imminent victory. He lost his place after tracking the leaders then came with such a rattle he would have won in another stride. Compensation awaits though his stable also run Cypress Creek and Victory Salute. The former caught the eye in no uncertain terms in both starts last season and today's trip will be ideal for the son of Galileo while the latter, another Galileo, is related to three winners including the useful Bondi Beach. Make The Switch is by Dansili out of a USA Grade 1 winner and has Group 1 entries so he's one to keep an eye on.
