Patrick Sarsfield was completing a four-timer when landing this two years ago but hasn't won subsequently and was behind Bear Story when the latter was placed in a Listed race at Naas in March. Michael Halford's colt has been taking on better company but is still carrying a penalty for a Group 3 victory at Dundalk in September. Georgeville won a Listed contest here in October and looked to be building up to another victory when runner-up to Cadillac here last month. Boundless Ocean has a maiden victory on this course to his credit and ran better than his form figure suggests in the Irish Derby. Howth has been disappointing but TREVAUNANCE can take this step-up in grade in her stride after a very convincing victory over subsequent Listed winner Galleria Borghese at Limerick.
