Avalanche is very consistent which is why he's 10lb higher than his last victory. He was behind Beau Satchel at Dundalk a couple of weeks ago and the latter, who has won over the course and distance, isn't badly treated. Titus made a winning debut in a maiden here a year ago though disappointed in his two starts in June but CONSTANT COMMENT would have a fine chance if repeating her early season form. Jim Bolger's filly landed a Naas maiden in May then followed up in a very strong handicap at the Curragh a few weeks later so a chance is taken that she's ready after a break. Her stable also run Chronicles, another lightly-raced type who showed promise in the spring while Plough Boy, who has been running well without quite getting there, is just 4lb higher than his last winning mark.
