Verdict

Point-to-point and bumper winner Uncle Danny made a bright start over hurdles at Naas but then took a fierce hold when tackling a longer trip on this track and was soon beaten - he can do better. GLADIATOR KING, one of four Tony Martin entries, was making his debut over hurdles when a close third behind stablemate Blair Perrone over this course and distance and wasn't given a hard time. He'll know more here and can gain his first success. Call Me Pj wasn't far behind and can go well though it's Utmost Zeal, who led for a long way at Tramore on New Year's Day but was fading when falling at the last, who looks the main threat.
